After Plans to Win PMB, Yul Edochie Drops from Presidency Race

Nollywood actor and 2017 Gubernatorial candidate in Anambra state, Mr Yul Edochie has dropped from the 2019 Presidency race.

Yul Edochie announced on his Twitter that after due consultations and due consideration, he will no longer run for the Office of the President in 2019.

We reported that Mr Edochie made a boast of winning President Buhari last month.

Yul Edochie is presently the Senior Special Adviser on Creative and Entertainment Media to the Government of Anambra state under Willie Obiano, a position he got after joining the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA).


He left for the United Kingdom 6 years ago with little knowledge about Information Technology. With a strong drive and passion to learn, he spent 16 hours every day learning how to write codes in PHP, Java, JavaScript and MySQL database management systems. It was no surprise that he graduated top of his M.Sc. Information Technology Class with a strong recommendation to pursue his Doctorate degree. Joseph recovered his M.Sc. tuition fees before completing the programme without having to go look for a job and got offered a PhD admission by three universities in the UK two weeks after his application.
