The Communists Party of China just passed a resolution on Sunday to remove Presidential term limits which is likely to make Xi Jinping President for life.
President Donald Trump while in a meeting with Republican donors in Florida reacted to this by saying maybe the United States would “give it a shot someday”.
The statements in this meeting were made in a joke and comments jested.
“He’s now president for life. President for life. And he’s great, ” talking about the Chinese President Xi Jinping.
“And look, he was able to do that. I think it’s great. Maybe we’ll give that a shot someday.”
He equally complained about the electoral system which he said was rigged and fixed against him.

The Road to China (2)
A lot has been said about the official visit with business intent or agenda to China and the effect it is expected to have on the economy especially foreign exchange. The news of $ 6 billion dollar investment that is coming into Nigeria from the visit only had me thinking in the area of improving infrastructure, creating direct and indirect employment, transfer of technology and skill and an eventual jump-starting of the economy. Nevertheless, when I got a message from a mentor regarding a piece on how President Buhari has been scammed or wasted his time on that visit, my heart began to waver; but taking a closer look I still count on my initial assertions on the benefits it will bring.
Also, the issue of the Yuan and Naira swap came up and if I am to speak based on my own little understanding of economics, it simply means that we would be exchanging goods, commodities, and services in Yuan rather than the dollar. This means that less naira will go unlike when we trade in dollars i.e. lower exchange rate with the Yuan.
