Prof. Remi Sonaiya was the former flagbearer of KOWA party during the 2015 Presidential elections. She happens to be the only woman that has gotten to that position of a party flagbearer in Nigeria’s political history.

According to her, four other members of her party have shown interests in being the Party’s flagbearer for the Presidency in 2019.

Remi Sonaiya made this known while speaking on the International Women’s Day on a radio station WFM 91.7. She said she would be going through the process of the party’s primaries like every other aspiring candidate.
