One major challenge in our Christian Walk is the faith to overcome fear; the fear of the circumstances we find ourselves. It takes a lot of work but with this Song No Longer Slaves, you can scale through every storm.
Words can have an impact on overcoming fear but words turned to music that inspires, destroys doubts while giving you a melody in the midst of those challenges. No Longer Slaves by Bethel Music is a timeless piece.
The Minister of Women Affairs Senator Aisha Alhassan has resigned from the APC-led government of President Muhammadu Buhari.
This is after she was disqualified from running for the Taraba Governorship primaries in the party by the National Working Committee (NWC).
In her letter of resignation, Aisha Alhassan narrated her journey from 2015 when she almost became the first elected female governor in Nigeria and later appointed as Minister of Woman Affairs by President Buhari.
Aisha Alhassan was among those not cleared to run in the APC primaries as released by the party within the week. No reasons were stated like the case of Adebayo Shittu in Oyo State for not having NYSC certificate.
Aisha Alhassan who also is known as Mama Taraba has in the past said that former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar was qualified to run against Buhari in 2019.
This sparked a controversy within the party with comments from people like Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai.
As much as the failings of the government of Goodluck Jonathan was clear from the beginning or in 2015 and the use of such failings by the All Progressives Congress (APC) to sack the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) from office; it meant that President Buhari and his team understood what was wrong with the PDP-led government then. The corruption was being peddled like anything, the insecurity was equally used and the economic and youth economy was used as a tool in the many campaigns leading up to 2015 general elections.
