[:en]The appearance of the Supreme Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu seems to have changed the equation of 2019 general elections.

Nnamdi Kanu ‘s close friend and associate who is a former Minister of Aviation Femi Fani-Kayode said he (Kanu) has agreed to work with him in 2019 general elections.

Fani-Kayode is a prominent member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). In a tweet, he appreciated Kanu for calling him while saluting the courage of his loyalties, friends and comrades.

The PDP is the major opposition political party in Nigeria and has selected Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to run against incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari of the APC. Nnamdi Kanu before his disappearance was a fierce critique of President Buhari.

But how much influence will Nnamdi Kanu assert on the South-Eastern Region of Nigeria and the entire country as Africa’s most populous nation prepares for a historic election on February 15th, 2019?

By May 29 2019, Nigeria will have completed another 20-cycle in her democratic practice (1959-1979, 1979-1999, 1999-2019).

This, among other things, shows that there is a generational shift about to happen with the passage of the Not Too Young to Run Bill this year.

Nnamdi Kanu is set to address Biafrans from Jerusalem on Sunday 21st October 2018.

More Details later…

We will bring you a live broadcast of Nnamdi Kanu from Jerusalem.
