The Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) of Nigeria has appointed Dr Olumuyiwa Oludayo as a committee member of the Institute. He will be joining the Research and Publication Committee of CIPM.
The inauguration and onboarding of the committee took place at the CIPM National Secretariat on the 5th of February 2019. His appointment will run all through the 2019 business year for the Institute.
The Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) of Nigeria was established as an umbrella Association for Practitioners of Personnel Management in 1968 as the Personnel Management Association of Nigeria. In 1973, it was renamed as Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria. Finally, Act No 58 of 1992 chartered the Institute.
Dr Oludayo is a leadership and management expert and is the Founder of Nathan Leadgate LLC, a business and leadership consulting firm. Through his work with the company, Dr Oludayo has partnered to grow and build businesses within and outside Nigeria. His company participated in delivering learning content for the N-Power Social Investment Programme of the Federal Government of Nigeria with the effect of reaching 500,000 youths directly.
Olumuyiwa Oludayo is also a former Registrar of Covenant University and was acclaimed to be the youngest registrar in Africa, a role he attained at age 32 and served in the capacity for four years.
Having worked with people to build businesses and systems that are still thriving, Dr Oludayo is sure to add expansive value to the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM).
Oludayo joins other committee members to oversee the research and publications activities of the CIPM. He will be leveraging his research background (one that has seen him publish over 25 academic and over 100 professional articles), to engage in research studies and publication of materials to keep members and non-members of the Institute abreast of cutting edge and contemporary knowledge, ideas and current issues in the field of human resource management and practice.
Oludayo was pivotal to the existing relationship between CIPM and Covenant University. This relationship has produced over 50 graduates of Covenant University that got certified as members of CIPM before graduating from their Bachelor’s programme.
Oludayo will definitely bring all his acumen to bear as he delivers maximally for the furtherance of the Institute.
El-Rufai used some strong words to address the EU, US and UK who have been listening to the voice of the opposition or Atiku Abubakar and his team who pillaged our country even after 16 years of returning to democratic rule. They were among the class of Nigerians who were privileged and used that privileged not as an opportunity to serve but as opportunists who stole away everything. And today, they want to return as messiahs and saviours when they have not answered for the past. Elections are won based on facts, figures and of course propaganda and even though the APC used it on 2015; you can see that theirs was not actually propaganda but facts of the looting and corruption that affected the thinking of Presidents to those of mere thieves. When the greed of a man comes to play, the abuse of power becomes inevitable and this played out during the times of PDP and we are still suffering that today.
