Imo State government under Rochas Okorocha appointed a new Secretary to the State Government (SSG) and Commissioners. This includes a replacement for the Chief of Staff which was occupied by his Uche Nwosu, a gubernatorial candidate and the governor’s Son-in-law.
Among those who have been sworn in by Imo State government is Mr Nze Patrick Chidi. He is an Alumnus of Rochas Foundation College owned by Rochas Okorocha (the State governor).

Nze Chidi is a former Executive Vice-Chairman of Owerri Municipal Local Government Area. His new portfolio as Commissioner, however, remains unknown.
Other appointees by the government of Imo state are; Kenneth Chid Ejiogu as Chief of Staff Government House, Chukwuemeka Valentine Duru, Principal Secretary to the Governor, and Victor Nwanaforo Onyechere, Deputy Chief of Staff, Operations.
Mrs Ijeoma Igboanusi as Deputy Chief of Staff, Domestic operations.
