Imo Supplementary Elections: PDP Wins 4 out of 5 LGAs

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Imo State has won four LGAs out of five in the State for the Imo House of Assembly.

The House Member presenting Okigwe South Federal Constituency Chike Okafor has been re-elected. In Ikeduru State constituency Uche Ogbuagu of the PDP won the elections having polled 18,791 to beat his rival from the APC who polled 4.042.

In Orlu State constituency, Paschal Okolie of the PDP was declared the winner of the election having polled 8,677 votes to beat his closest rival Mr. Okechukwu Okafor of the AA who scored 7,768 votes.


In Ngor Okpala State Constituency, Okereke Tochi of the PDP was declared as the winner of the elections with 11,500 votes to beat the next man after him Egwu Obinna who scored 7,557 under the Action Alliance (AA).

For the Okigwe South State constituency which was delayed by INEC Chike Okafor who won the elections scored 23,815 votes to defeat the Accord Party candidate Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba who polled 21,454 votes.
