Former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Emeka Ihedioha has said that his experience as a public servant and legislator has provided him with the understanding of Imo State and her challenges.
Emeka Ihedioha who recently emerged as the PDP governorship candidate in Imo State posted this on his Official Twitter handle.
He further sought the support of all Imo state stakeholders to be voted in as the next governor of Imo State come 2019.
According to him; “My experience of the past few years, as a public servant, a distinguished legislator and committed Imo patriot, has provided me with a deep understanding of the immense challenges facing our dear State, Imo and the expectations of different stakeholders. #RebuildImo”
“Moreso, it has strengthened my resolve to serve our great State as the Governor, come May 2019. I humbly seek your support to make this happen. #RebuildImo”
Emeka Ihedioha served as Deputy Speaker of the 7th National Assembly.
The Speaker of House Representatives Hon. Yakubu Dogara has been unanimously elected as Rep member representing Bogoro/Dass/Tafawa-Balewa Federal Constituency in Bauchi State.
This was done on Wednesday, October 3, 2018, by the returning officer of the party Esther Ahmed-Kadala.
All the 325 delegates from the constituency elected him for the 2019 general elections.
While conducting the elections Returning Officer Esther Ahmed-Kadala asked the delegates from the three local governments of the Federal Constituency a question which they all affirmed.
