The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Imo state has released a campaign schedule ahead of this year’s elections. The schedule was shared to the Caretaker Committee of the Imo APC. A copy was forwarded to Eureka Posts.
Alongside the schedule, there was a list of players for the Imo APC campaign in Imo state. They included the entire party leadership and organs in the ward and local government levels.
The flagbearer of the party for the gubernatorial election is Senator Hope Uzodinma who will be challenged by over 60 Candidates including Hon. Emeka Ihedioha of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and the Action Alliance (AA) Candidate Uche Nwosu (Rochas Okorocha’s Son-in-law).
The Imo APC has been rocked with factional tension since the run-up to the election holding in February.

The road to Nigeria 2019 has indeed brought up many areas of debate and discussion offline and online; from the Not Too Young To Run to Third Force, Red card Movement, Coalition of Nigerians and many others we seem to have reached that point where we have to rethink many things from strategy to choices to party, individuals and our collective benefits as Nigerians. While some people have pitched their tents with the different groups, some others want something more concerted and others feel that it still the same old story; I want to by this piece share my thoughts on why we have these divisions especially with people like ex-President Obasanjo and Oby Ezekwesili, Donald Duke, Frank Nweke II and many others have become part of the discourse for a New Nigeria by 2019.
