Senator Hope Uzodinma and the APC governorship candidate in Imo State has responded to issues of bribery and aggrieved members of the party in the state.
This was after his homecoming yesterday. We reported that Senator Hope Uzodinma will be arriving Imo State for the first time after his name was published by INEC as the APC flagbearer.
In the brief press conference, he answered questions on members who are not happy with the outcome of the primaries. According to him, he said why should anyone be aggrieved when a position was contested by 9 candidates with a winner expected to be declared.
He added that the post-primaries crisis are common in a democracy but it is the duty of the party to find ways to create a land pad for everyone.
On the issue of bribing APC National Chairman Adams Oshiomhole, he refuted such claims mildly by saying that the National Chairman he knows won’t compromise his integrity for him.
“Why is he then fighting governors who have more capacity to give more bribes than he a Senator”, Uzodinma said.

My culture (Yoruba) says ‘ oro leyin to ba jab o ko le ko’ . Meaning words are like eggs when spoken they can’t be swallowed back. In the Nigerian society, you hear the rate of insults being spoken by a mother to her child. The truth is these words unconsciously begin to form the nature of the child. The child begins to breathe in those words and breathe out those words.
The next time he/she has got a fight in class/playground is the same words spoken to him by his parents that will be spoken out to his friends. From the spiritual aspects, our words are the edged sword we use to defeat the devil not our fist or tears. From the emotional aspects, expressing an affection starts with words before being backed by emotions. I could tell you how beautiful you are as a person and then show you by pointing the various areas you are.
