2019: Imo State In Need of an Experienced Mechanic -Ikedi Ohakim

The former governor of Imo State Ikedi Ohakim has asked Imo people to demand that all governorship Candidates debate on March 2, 2019.

He said that Imo people state needs someone with experience to fix the post-Okorocha government.

According to him Imo people need an experienced mechanic.

While speaking in Owerri, the state capital he said.

“I call on the people of Imo State to insist on a public debate among the governorship candidates for the 2019 governorship election in the state.”

“A public debate will expose the preparedness of those running for the governorship position in the state. I am not running for the governorship to fight anyone.”

“The volume of work that would be done post-Rochas Okorocha administration does not give anyone the luxury of time to engage in fisticuffs or muscle flexing.”

“Anyone who thinks that fighting or throwing tantrums is what Imo needs should run a check on his mental condition and consider whether he should not rather join John Cena, Triple H, Seth Rollings, Dean Ambrose, AJ Styles, Daniel Bryan and Shemus, in the WWE wrestling ring.”

“Imo State has broken down and needs an experienced mechanic to fix it. Imo State is in an Intensive Care Unit and no consultant doctor spares his time for a fight but focuses on the patient.”

According to Ohakim, he has the needed experience required to fix the state judging from his background as an ex governor of the state.

The former governor said “I am mentally and emotionally prepared to hit the ground running at the blast of the whistle. I have done it before when I settled the arrears of pension and salaries and began to clean up Owerri when I assumed office in 2007 as governor.”

Ikedi Ohakim was governor between 2007 and 2011 when he lost to Rochas Okorocha. He is the Governorship Candidate for Accord Party in Imo 2019 election.
