The three communities of Bolki, Bang and Gon in Numan Local Government Area of Adamawa state, North-East Nigeria have been attacked by gunmen.
These gunmen are suspected to be herdsmen. Many houses have been burnt down due to the attack.
The Chairman of the affected Local Government Arnold Jibla spoke with Channels Television regarding this attacks. Mr. Arnold said that the casualties cannot be accounted for because the attack was still on.
When Channels reached out to the State Police Public Relations Officer Superintendent of Police, he said he was not briefed about this yet.
Locals from a border community between Adamawa and Taraba Bang village revealed that the entire communities have been razed down.
These gunmen attacked the communities (in Adamawa) in large numbers in the early hours of Wednesday, May 2, 2018.
