NEEDLESS TO RE EMPHASIZE THAT THE ORIGINAL PICTURE OF IMO STATE AS ENVISIONED BY OUR PAST AND PRESENT HEROES, THE MBAKWES, THE ECHERUOS, THE ENWEREMS, THE NZERIBES AND SO FORTH, IS NOT A MIRAGE OR A MYSTERY TO ACHIEVE. IT IS INDEED MORE REALIZEABLE NOW THAN EVER BEFORE, WITH THE QUANTUM LEAP IN HUMAN AND TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCEMENTS OF WHICH WE ARE WELL ENDOWED.

INDEED, I MAKE NO CLAIMS TO BEING THE BEST THAT IMO CAN BOAST OF. I DO NOT PRETEND TO HAVING ANY MAGIC WAND THAT WILL WIPE AWAY ALL OUR SUFFERINGS IN ONE DAY.
BUT I ONLY HAVE ONE THING WHICH I BELIEVE IS ALL WE NEED TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE. I HAVE GOD AND I KNOW THAT WITH THE CONSISTENT AND UNFLINCHING APPLICATION OF GOD GIVEN LAWS OF EQUITY AND GOOD CONSCIENCE, THE NATURAL OUTCOMES MUST BE GOOD GOVERNANCE WHICH IN TURN WILL LEAD TO GOOD POLICIES AND ACTIONS THAT WILL IMPACT POSITIVELY ON OUR PEOPLE AND THEIR ENVIRONMENT.
THIS IS NOT ROCKET SCIENCE. IT IS DOABLE, ONCE WE MAKE GOD THE PILLAR AND IMO PEOPLE THE TARGET.

Acceptance Speech by Senator Hope Uzodinma as APC Imo Governorship Candidate
