Some truths in life don’t need any explanation or a call to defend it rather proofs of such truths exist and can be found around us. Nigeria today is known to have an imbalanced federalism when judging by the modus operandi of it; many states and local government have feelings of marginalisation; some have found a way to enlarge their territories so that allocations from the central government can come more to them.
Northern states are known for their landmass which also means more allocations for them while those that are down South feel that this is a good reason to agitate for marginalisation.
The Presidential Candidate of the African Action Congress Yele Sowore has alleged that he was stopped from participating in the 2019 Presidential debate due to an old score with John Momoh, founder of Channels TV.
According to Sowore, his company Sahara Reporters published an article that stopped John Momoh from becoming the 1962 Alumni President for University of Lagos.
Channels Television is one of the organizers of the 2019 Presidential debate in January.
