Passed Bills Left by President Buhari to Sign the Not Too Young to Run Bill

On May 31, President Buhari signed the Not Too Young to Run bill into law and it was a day of rejoicing for young Nigerians who have been expecting this day to come.

The bill sought to reduce the age of running for office for the President, State House of Assembly and House Of Representatives.

The Not Too Young To Run bill was signed after several months of consultations and negotiations by young Nigerians who spearheaded this movement.

However, a thread on Twitter has shown that President Muhammadu Buhari might have signed this bill to appease to young Nigerians ahead of the 2019 Presidential Election which he already declared to run again.

This is coming after a recent memo that will demand a genital tests for both couples.

Such regulations seems to be increasing the controversy surrounding the church and the many interpretations of Scriptures.
