Nigeria’s Ahmed Musa Ahmed Musa got signed to a new club just after a wonderful at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
He has joined Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia and he received grand reception at the airport.
Ahmed Musa on his Twitter handle acknowledged such a reception while staying that he will be looking forward to a historic opportunity at his new club Al-Nassr.
Ahmed Musa was a nominated among the players with one of the best goals in the 2018 World Cup.
His move to Al-Nassr is from Leicester City.
The controversy in this move is that Jerusalem is not recognized by the United Nations as Israel’s capital or some other countries. The East Jerusalem was captured by Israelis in 1967 during the Six-Day war or Middle-East war. There has been a dispute over the status of the city as Palestinians also intend to set up their capital in East Jerusalem.
The nation of Israel however in 1980 declared Jerusalem its her capital but most nations preferred to site their embassies in Tel Aviv (Israel’s second largest city) including the United States. The US is the first country to set up their Embassy in Jerusalem.
The President Guatemalan Jimmy Morales is equally making plans to follow the footsteps of President Trump and move their embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
